We have received questions in the past weeks from some of our visitors through our support, regarding about how they can hide from our yahoo invisible detector.

Since we have created our yahoo invisible detector in order to show the real yahoo status of a person, by design, it is impossible to hide from this service or to block it in any way. Blocks from firewalls and programs are also impossible as it has nothing to do with a user’s PC or the yahoo account of the person who is checked or of the person who initiated the verification.

Can't hide from yahoo invisible detectorWe recommend reading our dedicated article of how yahoo detectors work so that you will have a more in depth understanding of it. Also if you have any concerns with your security, please consult our privacy policy page. Please note, that on rare occasions our detector can give back a false result.

We must mention that even though there is absolutely no way to hide from our detector, we do have a process of avatar removal if you are concerned of your privacy. If you wish to remove your avatar from the avatars page, please read the dedicated article and follow the instructions in order to find out how to remove your avatar. We also recommend reading our advice on how to protect your avatar and personal information and what exactly can you do if you came across an avatar with erotic content.

All in all, the basic idea is that you can’t hide from our yahoo invisible detector, but your information is safe, and you can also protect your avatar. We are here for you in order to supply the real yahoo status of a person by offering a 100% working yahoo detector.

I have checked the status of one specific person who I am chatting with. My contact list shows her as invisible. Your Yahoo detector shows her as offline. I talk to the same person when my contact list shows her as online. Your Yahoo detector still shoes her as offline.

      good day!
i have been trying this service for about half a year now and I haven’t encountered a problem since now. I know that this site is not absolute but these past few weeks, i would try your yahoo messenger detector on my own yahoo ID and it seems it cannot detect that I am on invisible status. I am just using a laptop, and i thought is it possible also that people who use their yahoo messengers on iphone or smartphones have also that problem wherein it cannot detect the people who are invisible in status? it only displays offline when i tried to go on invisible.

i hope you can clarify this concern of mine.

hi, there’s a way . if in yahoo be invis for somebody and be online for others the ydetector says you are ofline

      • Detector Invisible Yahoo on January 25, 2012

That site is not working properly and that’s why it shows offline.
        Check with IMvisible.info or DetectInvisible.com

been using ur Detector since a long time and it always worked so far.
But since some weeks i chat with a person which is on invisible status but ur detector always shows it as offline. Tried on myself and other friends and it work fine. Just the person it is not working with even though it always worked before there. How can that be ?

    • cathy on February 7, 2012

Thanks for the site and i already read it . But there is no solution becaus it is only with 1 person my problem. And its not once showing the wrong status it is always. all that started once he told me to change his computer. since those day it never worked again with him.

      it was my question

Yes, it IS POSSIBLE to block an invisible detector. I have verified this chatting someone while detectinvisible.com said offline. This usually is the case; in fact I rarely can detect this person online even when chatting them. This is due to a slow, laggy connection. The connection is not reporting enough packets when the yahoo server is queried, so it reports offline.
You can recreate this situation sometimes, by downloading huge file, like movies or music. This will eat up all your bandwidth. Your connection will lag. It is not foolproof if you are on a high-speed connection (DSL, Broadband, T1, etc, as you may still be sending enough packets thru your connection to the yahoo server to be detected. But is guaranteed to work on a dial up connection.

Try testing this with a friend who is always telling you their net sucks, or is in a college dorm or using a multi-user LAN connection. Or even on yourself. Ask them to download something and go invisible. while you are chatting, try to detect them. You’ll be surprised to see detectinvisible.com fail in these cases.

Try as much as you can cause DetectInvisible.com will still detect you because the detection is made on server side and not on client side ;)

      very nice blog
      and great website

    • Dodo on March 12, 2012

Yes it’s possible detectinvisible not to sense the right status, if I login on the mail page, no longer show the invisible correct, it’s show offline, do I’m invisible. It’s show correct status if I login direct on messenger.

      • Detector Invisible Yahoo on March 15, 2012

        Wrong.
I just checked myself and it shows the correct status. The detection system is regarding Yahoo servers not only the client you use.

I have checked my Y!M ID and detectinvisible give out a wrong result. I choose Invisible and the result is OFFLINE.

Is it possible to get a false positive – report ‘invisible’ even when really offline? One of my friends showed invisible on one ID but chatted with me on another ID. She said she does not know how to open 2 IDs at the same time (although I know it is possible via the Registry). EOther she is lying and hiding some secret OR your detector is shwing a false positive – what do you think?

    • Joe on August 21, 2012

What about ym sms ,,she is off ym as for chat and getting pm’s,,but is on her mobile. The invisck’r says on line. Which is it ? If all 1 needs to do is open ym sms,,they show mobile and invisck’r says on line. UR not on line just cause ur on ur mobile w/ym sms active.

    • embrach on August 24, 2012

I find your detector has worked fine until last 2 days. I use the free service and also pay to monitor an id for a month. This ID recently showed only many times even though YM was not being used _ I imagine maybe Yahoo email was logged in… could this explain it?

Then tonight the opposite problem. My friend had to leave our chat on one ID to msg someone else from another ID – the ID I monitor. But all the time it showed offline, even though she said she was online. Can you suggest why this may have been? ok, she may be lying and did not use that ID … but I dont think so. Sorry but I dont understand our technical guides. Thanks :)

the link you give does not really explain the real issue. your link only explains why sometimes, but we encounter the problem always.

We worked in order to fix the detector. Now it’s working properly 100%, and we’re the only detector out there witch is working. Sorry for inconvenience.
